Film & television production has a significant environmental impact – but there’s so much that we can do to reduce that impact.
As crew GWAS has influence – we have choices relating to food, materials use, energy we use, travel & transport, and using our voice.

- Aiming to be a Net Zero company by 2033
- Using Petrol/Hybrid/EV vehicles instead of Diesel where possible and off setting 100% of CO2 produced by our transport needs
- 100% Recycling of office waste via our partners Smiths
- Utilising just in time ordering to reduce wastage from out of date stock
- Clinical waste dealt with in an environmentally friendly way rather than sending to landfil to ensure we work towards a zero waste to landfill policy
- Circular economy by sending unused, out of date stock and equipment to overseas partners for use in humanitarian missions rather than disposing of it into the UK waste stream
- Using local medics for local jobs and reducing the need for hotels and limiting travel distances where possible
- Working with partners and suppliers that support our aims of helping to avert the climate crisis
- Using on sustainable energy in our offices that comes from green sourced energy providers
- Using battery packs charged via sustainable energy rather than using onsite generators whilst on location
