An Independent Ambulance Service

As an independent ambulance service, GWAS vehicles are intentionally designed to be visually distinct from NHS ambulances. This ensures the public are not confused about the service provider while allowing our operational vehicles to maintain a highly recognisable presence across events, airfields and sporting venues.

The distinctive GWAS operational colour scheme has been developed to maximise visibility across the varied environments in which our fleet operates — from polo fields and equestrian venues to airfields, film sets and large public events. Every vehicle is maintained to operational standards and equipped appropriately for its deployment role.

The Aston Martin Rapide Response Car used by GWAS Ambulance Group.

This rapid response vehicle is deployed for film productions, sporting events and specialist operations where a highly capable clinician and advanced medical equipment need to reach a patient quickly.

Unlike traditional ambulances, response vehicles allow our clinicians to move rapidly through crowded venues, rural environments and complex operational settings while carrying critical life-saving equipment.

This particular vehicle forms part of the GWAS operational fleet supporting:

While we are not the NHS, our independent fleet is designed for operational visibility and rapid medical response in environments where speed and access are essential.
