Professional Medical Support, Built on Experience

GWAS Ambulance Group delivers trusted, governance-led medical support across events, sport, film and television, and specialist operations.

Who We Are

Veteran & Family Owned

GWAS Ambulance Group Ltd is a specialist medical provider delivering ambulance services, event medical cover, sports and polo medical support, film and television medics, and specialist aviation and airfield medical operations across the United Kingdom.

The company was founded by a veteran with a background in military and NHS service, and is operated as a family business. GWAS was established with the support of the RBL Poppy Factory, and the leadership team brings over 50 years of combined pre-hospital care experience across military, NHS and independent sectors.

With over 15 years of operational experience and more than 25,000 sporting events covered — including 11,000+ polo games supported — GWAS has developed a strong reputation for professionalism, reliability and specialist sector knowledge. That experience is reflected in the quality and consistency of every deployment we undertake.

Being veteran founded and family operated means our values are embedded in how we work: disciplined planning, honest communication and a genuine commitment to patient care and client service.
